The price, ease of use and outstanding support, make this product a winner for listing and other promotions.
With so many companies promoting virtual tours, slide shows and video productions, it’s hard for a real estate agent to decide the best way to showcase listings, market a neighborhood or promote an event. Real Estate Shows makes those promotions simple and at an affordable price. Jeff Turner, one of three executives of the company, is a well known face of real estate technology. A popular speaker and blogger (he’ll be at Inman Connect in January), Jeff gets it when it comes to connecting with an audience.
Real Estate Shows is all about connecting with an audience and creating a real estate show couldn’t be much easier or more intuitive. Just click the CREATE A SHOW button and an uploader appears. Select the photos you want to display in your show; the uploader automatically resizes the photos for you. A link to the show is then emailed to you and you can begin arranging your photos and adding titles and music. You’ll be able to create either a 30 or 60 second show. You can even add a YouTube video to your show by displaying a VIDEO button and then copying and pasting the URL of your YouTube video. Here’s the cool part: When a viewer clicks the link, the YouTube video will play inside the branded show.
You can create and edit shows quickly (5 minutes is not an exaggeration) and easily link to your MLS and Realtor.com. Your show can be imbeded in your blog or website. A tracking report will even show you how many times your show has been viewed. You also have the ability to connect multiple shows together as “related shows”. AND a recent enhancement now allows you to create internet flyers which can be emailed directly to clients or imbedded on a blog or website.
As far as viewing your shows, tabs allow a visitor to sort through your inventory of active and sold listings as well as community or personal shows. And you can keep certain shows “hidden” if they are meant to be private for only a specific viewer.
If you need help, the Real Estate Shows website has training videos broken into small modules to teach every aspect of creating a show including how to edit camera movement and how to organize your shows into categories. Most of the training videos require less than 2 minutes to view. I’ve seldom needed to use the training videos because the beauty of this program is its simplicity. In addition to training videos, the Real Estate Shows Blog offers support as well as tips and marketing ideas for doing shows beyond the typical listing photo fare.
PROS: The price of $125 a year for UNLIMITED shows is a real bargain. Instead of paying per listing, you can use this program as much as you like. Did I say how EASY this program is to use? There is no learning curve. Competing products may offer more bells and whistles than Real Estate Shows but in many cases they can only be used to promote a listing. In addition to listings, Real Estate Shows can be used to promote neighborhoods, for holiday sentiments and for any promotion that doesn’t fit neatly into a listing video template or tour.
CONS: A 30 second show allows you to use 5 photos and a 60 second show provides space for 9. It would be nice to be able to showcase more photos. A show does allow you to include a link to additional photos outside the regular show.

Shoot, my ranking did not show up. Here’s another thumbs up for real estate shows.

I’m a fan too. The ease of use is great. Like the reporting feature that shows me where the traffic is coming from.
The downsides for me are what you mentioned and I also find that my photos seem to be slightly distorted by the panning/motion of the slide shows.
That said, I recommend the product wholeheartedly. For the price, it really can not be beat. There is NO excuse for not having a virtual tour, or as Jeff prefers Show, on your listing. It can’t hurt and your time and cash investments will both me nominal.
