Agency Logic PowerSites deliver a professional product that delights homesellers by giving them their own dedicated website.

When Agency Logic developed its PowerSite product in 2003, they were one of the first on the scene to offer a single property website.  Athough visual and virtual tours were available at the time, PowerSites offered a unique way to market a single property with the features of a full blown website and a distinct domain name. Four years later, Agency Logic has plenty of competition but still remains a leader in single property marketing.

Agency Logic packs a lot of features in their product including the ability to add 100 photos, unlimited property description text, imbedded video and audio, and custom links. Extras include a “click to talk” button and a PowerSite Showcase which gives you the ability to display PowerSite images on your own website.  In addition, by creating custom page and document libraries, you won’t need to recreate pages and documents that may apply to future PowerSites.  You will also be able to provide access to maps, school information and census data.

One of the coolest features about this product is something called the PowerView. PowerView gives you the ability to create an individual Powersite of a seller’s property, prior to the actual purchase of the Powersite. You client will receive a branded HTML email and their own login to view their individual Powersite before it goes live to the real world.  Once you have secured the listing, your client can view usage statistics with the same login. If you don’t win the listing, you haven’t spent a dime.

Building a PowerSite is quite easy. I found the initial set up and the creation of my first PowerSite to be pretty intuitive as well as “dummy proof”.  You’ll have many unique design options and franchise approved templates to choose from. Photo uploading is quick and efficient. (Powersite photos at 640x480 are larger than the competitions.) Once you have the first PowerSite completed, each additional Powersite becomes easier to build, since you can reuse the custom links, pages and documents you have previously created.

The really fun part begins once your PowerSite is activated.  (I don’t mean to imply that building the site isn’t fun, because it is.) This product is all about creative marketing. You’ll be able to automatically syndicate your powersite to Trulia, Oodle, PropSmart, Edgeio, Yahoo and Google.  Agency Logic is an approved vendor of Realtor.com so adding a Powersite to your enhanced listings is simple. You can also produce a non-branded version of a PowerSite for use in most MLS systems. There are plenty of other marketing ideas you can implement like sign riders, html flyers and podcast uploading.  I like to produce postcards which display the unique URL for my PowerSite listings.  If you have a number of active Powersites, consider creating a Squidoo lens for them.

PROS
- An Agency Logic PowerSite can provide a rich source of information on a single property. It really does look like a full website if you take advantage of the ability to add custom pages and links. I loved this product when it was first intoduced in 2003 and it has only gotten better. The original $99 price tag was a bit of a deterent for most agents to use the product for other than the best and most expensive listings.  The price has since been reduced to $50 per website ($35 for a 25 pack).  The price includes the domain name registration and 12 months of hosting.  There is no contract to sign; you can buy PowerSites only when you need them.  Agency Logic offers exceptional support and free online training. Since its inception, the product has been enhanced numerous times and Agency Logic will happily consider new suggestions. Building PowerSites can definately earn you listings.

CONS - Coming up with anything negative to say about this product is a bit of a challenge for me.  So I won’t.
