Friends of ours have a family owned realty business. Something they do after every sale is provide a nice but inexpensive house warming gift to all their customers. They pay special attention to personal details each customer tells them during the sales relationship. Gifts given are hand picked for each customer based on things they’ve told them. You would be surprised how many new sales this little gift can generate. They get more repeat buyers as well as referrals from customers they give these gifts.

That’s pretty cool. Making the sale feel like a friend seems like a great idea for future sales.

Yes. I agree. After sales service is very important, not only in real estate but in any business. “Words of mouth” is one of the good ways to advertise doing a good after sales service certainly produces positive words of mouth ads.
