What are the tips that can you give those new and aspiring agents. I know being an agent is a relly tough job. You can be earning nothing if you don’t know how to sell. So for those successful agent out htere any tips to share?

It depends on what you are planning to focus on with your business.  If you are new and just looking for sales, working an existing agent’s team can help you start earning money sooner.  When you are working on a team, most of the time you just work with buyers, but the buyers are given to you.

If you want to do more work on the listing side of the business.  We got most of our first listings from FSBOs.  We would sell them on the benefits of selling with a real estate agent, with the way the market is now, this shouldn’t be too hard.

We had to focus on FSBOs since we didn’t know many people in the area.  If you know many people in your area, you may want to form a list and send them some mailers so that they keep you in mind if they, or someone they know is going to buy or sell.

The only advice i can give is just keep advertisig yourself.

You have to be persistent and always call and followup any leads.
