Realty.com Launches Website for Real Estate Agents
CHARLOTTE, N.C., February 29, 2008 – Realty.com announces the launch of a new specialized website designed for real estate agents to connect with each other, discuss real estate issues and read exclusive reviews from an expert panel on services marketed toward agents.
The new website, RealtyAgents.com, was developed as a reliable resource for the average real estate agent regardless if they are tech savvy or not. The site’s main goal is to become a trusted destination for real estate product reviews. With hundreds of new products and services marketed toward real estate agents each year, RealtyAgents.com provides the perfect location to find realistic client testimonials and editorial reviews. It is destined to be a clearinghouse for Amazon-like reviews related to real estate.
“Realtors are constantly being marketed to with hundreds, if not thousands, of internet and marketing programs. Being able to choose which service to use is almost impossible,” said Andy Denton, COO of Realty.com and creator and editor of RealtyAgents.com. “With this site, we aim to end the confusion by having web savvy and knowledgeable agents review products and rate them. Readers in turn can do the same by leaving comments and submitting their rating.”
Original reviews posted on the site will be written by real estate professionals with decades of experience. The talented pool of contributors includes:
• Linda Davis is broker owner of RE/MAX Realty Group and has served the Southeastern Connecticut area for more than 30 years. She has served as President of the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors and is currently President of the Cyberprofessionals, a real estate technology networking group. Linda’s Eastern Connecticut real estate blog tackles real estate and land use issues, often with a sense of humor.
• Kristal Kraft, of Denver, Colo., is a broker and partner of The Berkshire Group, and she has been a licensed Colorado real estate broker since 1984. Kristal has found creative ways to infuse technology into her real estate business. Today, Kristal writes for several blogs, including her own at Denver Dwellings.
• Maureen Francis, of Oakland County, Michigan, specializes in residential real estate in Metro Detroit and writes a topical blog on real estate. Maureen is affiliated with SKBK Sotheby’s International Realty and likes finding new technologies that will help sell her client’s homes faster.
• Teresa Boardman is a realtor and licensed broker with Keller Williams Integrity Realty in St. Paul, Minnesota. She also teaches internet marketing and technology classes to real estate agents. Teresa is the author of The St. Paul Real Estate Blog, which gained national and local media attention with articles in the Chicago Tribunes, Realty Times, Realtor Magazine, Metro Magazine, and Inman News.
In addition to professional reviews, RealtyAgents.com connects real estate agents with other agents through the site’s agent community section. Agents can send private messages to each other for advice and input as well as discuss openly with all readers in the forums section.
