MySpace for Realtors?

Do you consider MySpace a good place to gain exposure in the real estate market?  While it has been shown to be a haven for teens, there are adults on there as well.  Have you gotten involved with it and, if so, have you had any luck making contacts?

I’ve spent very little time on Myspace, but I must admit that my impression of it is that it’s like a big party, with almost everyone passing out their business cards. Personally, I’m not aware of much business being done there.

At the same time, I realize that many well-known companies have pages there.

I think it is a better platform for those that are selling product or trying to establish their website than someone with a realty business.  That is just my opinion though.

I don’t think myspace is a good place to put anything professional (unless you’re a band, I guess).  I know quite a few “grown-ups” who shy away from all things myspace . . . be careful if you do put a profile up LOL you have to monitor your “friends” to make sure their profiles don’t offend your customers in addition to managing your own page!  Oye.
